Nominations for the 2023 Community Star Awards are now open!

Win £250 for your superstar volunteer and £250 for their charity or community group.

If you’re involved in a charity or community group in our Heartland Area and know a superstar volunteer, you can nominate them for our 2023 Community Star Awards to recognise their dedication and commitment to your group or cause.

The winner will receive £250 as a cheque or vouchers (their choice) and their charity or group will also bag £250 to spend on whatever they wish – whether it’s new equipment, a lick of paint and some TLC, the latest kit, or just promoting what they do.

The award will be decided by judges from the Society, including an independent member, and will be announced at our Community Celebration Event at our AGM on Thursday 27 April 2023 at 4pm at:

The Auditorium, Mansfield Library, Four Season Shopping Centre, Westgate, Mansfield, Notts NG18 1NH

The award is open to existing volunteers at registered charities and community groups in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and South Yorkshire, excluding organisations involved in party political activities, religious causes and commercial enterprises.

Simply complete the form below and include an explanation (of no more than 400 words) of why the volunteer has been nominated. Any nominations received without a valid explanation by midnight on the closing date of 31 March will be excluded.
